EDITOR'S COMMENT: Whether we like it or not, this case will now go to appeals, most likely delaying judgement for more months, while Monsanto continues to gain more of a stronghold on our vital food chain. Bill Gates, Monsanto, and eugenics: How one of the world's wealthiest men is actively promoting a corporate takeover of global agriculture | February 29, 2012 | Ethan A. Huff | (NaturalNews) After it was exposed that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the philanthropic brainchild of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, purchased 500,000 shares in Monsanto back in 2010 valued at more than $23 million, it became abundantly clear that this so-called benevolent charity is up to something other than eradicating disease and feeding the world's poor (http://www.guardian.co.uk). It turns out that the Gates family legacy has long been one of trying to dominate and control the world's systems, including in the areas of technology, medicine, and now agriculture. Read more...

We believe that drug prohibition is the true cause of much of the social and personal damage that has historically been attributed to drug use.Why Legalize Drugs? | brasscheck tv | History has shown that drug prohibition reduces neither use nor abuse. After a rapist is arrested, there are fewer rapes. After a drug dealer is arrested, however, neither the supply nor the demand for drugs is seriously changed. The arrest merely creates a job opening for an endless stream of drug entrepreneurs who will take huge risks for the sake of the enormous profits created by prohibition. Prohibition costs taxpayers tens of billions of dollars every year, yet 40 years and some 40 million arrests later, drugs are cheaper, more potent and far more widely used than at the beginning of this futile crusade. EDITOR'S COMMENT: I post previous article hoping people understand that to combat drug abuse we must continue sharing correct information. Legal pharmceuticals are now a much bigger abuse problem than illegal drugs. To stop this we must offer public a better path and literally stop needless temptation, giving a person freedom of choice to make their own decision. What would happen if all prescriptions were legal, along with poisons like Monsanto? People would have a choice to either kill themselves while tempting their family members, or clean up and accept the truth: Amost all drugs and poisons are dangerous to our health.

The story that unfolds in the documentary Bitter Seeds, featured at the Boulder International Film Festival, is about farmers who wager it all on what are promised to be miracle seeds, but land dust and failed crops rather than a magic bean pole. Their ending is far more grim.Biff 2012 | Bitter stories ‘Bitter Seeds’ leads a call to action against GMOs | Blair Madole | A quarter of a million farmers in India have committed suicide in the last 16 years, according to Bitter Seeds. This equates to one farmer killing himself every 30 minutes, all because the miracle cotton seeds they were sold with the promise they would increase yield drove them into debt and failed to produce an ample return. In this tale, the giant they faced is GMO seed producer Monsanto, and they lost. Read more...

EDITOR'S NOTE: Although never a big fan of FoxNews, this is verfiable research and evidence, a classic example of heinous criminal activity within our present day medical profession that has to be stopped. At 19 years old, I was subjected to similar treatment after turning pure vegetarian, only wishing to fast and purify. My parents thought I was crazy for refusing to eat meat, while having enlightening revelations. They asked Minister of their church and head Psychiatrist of the county to violate my rights by kidnapping and locking me up against my will, in a Psych Ward. Two weeks later I was released, when they found me to be totally non violent, a "model patient", and nothing wrong with me, a lucky one, that was protected by the "Angelic Host".

The year was 1971, and I was literally treated like a "guinea pig", treated more like a macabre "experiment" than anything that actually helps humans. Check this video link for further information: Electric Shock Treatments in Massachusetts ...I truly believe parents authorizinge psychotropic drugs followed by shocking need to know the truth and understand...

You can find out much more and what you can do about this, by going to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR).

40+ years later, I am still vegan, still non violent, and have made it my life work to stop destructive and violent ways of people doing things like this, shown in previous videos. Sincerely, Dennis Knicely, Editor / Publisher http://www.HealingNews.com

Being mentally strong and viable is an important aspect of holistic health. Credits:  arakas.com What is holistic health? | Chad Callais | FEBRUARY 11, 2012 | Examiner| | When individuals hear the term ‘holistic health’, what they normally envision are people sitting in a circle, cross-legged, chanting mantras while engrossed in a spiritual environment of gross meditation. That may have been the case decades or even centuries ago, but that is no longer the case. According to the American Holistic Health Association (AHHA), holistic health is associated with the new term in health – wellness. The purpose of holistic health is to promote holistic principles in three main domains – body, mind and spirit. Read more...

ennifer May for The New York Times... Diners wait until everyone is seated at the Blue Cliff MonasteryThe Surprising Benefits of Mindful Eating | Dr. Susan Albers | 02/13/2012 | NYTimes | The concept has roots in Buddhist teachings. Arsenic found in organic baby food, cereal bars | Rachel Rettner | 02-16-2012 | MSNBC | The majority of arsenic the researchers found was inorganic, which is generally thought to be more harmful than organic arsenic. EDITOR'S NOTE: Source of this "inorganic arsenic" is organic brown rice syrup. Adults would likely have to consume quite a bit of rice over the course of decades for it to have an effect, said Christopher States, a toxicologist at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. However, babies are at a higher risk, and more susceptible to possible harm. Organic arsenic is highly alkaline and essentially harmless to humans when found naturally in apples, oranges and other foods.

12 Things You Didn’t Know About ‘I Will Always Love You’ | Chris Willman | 02-15-2012 | Stop The Presses! - Yahoo | | You probably already knew that Whitney Houston's recording of "I Will Always Love You" is one of the biggest singles of the last 25 years... and the song that defined her legacy, as proven by its use as the lone ballad of homage to Houston at Sunday night's Grammys. Maybe you even know that a not-so-behind-the-scenes songsmith named Dolly Parton wrote and first recorded it, almost 20 years before Whitney spent a then-record 14 weeks at the top of the singles chart in 1992-93 with what turned out to be her signature song. My heart goes out to ALL the victims of unhealthy habits and abuse leading to severe losses of loved ones. Blessings to all - Dennis

EDITOR'S COMMENT: Previous two articles give different perspectives on same subject. Women and men, it is time to advocate the "natural organic" look, that I personally feel is much more attractive. EDITOR'S COMMENT: Although never a great fan of conventional medical procedure, previous posting says it all: The heart can be restored, yet up to this point conventional doctors have said it it is not possible. Does PETA ad featuring a young, pantsless woman in a neckbrace promote veganism, or offend? | Dylan Stableford | 02-14-2012 | The Cutline | PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is known for its provocative ads--many of them featuring women in various states of undress--that aim to draw attention (however indirectly) to animal rights. EDITOR'S COMMENT: This latest ad from PETA is offensive, in my opinion. Let PETA know how you feel about this bad example of media.

As much as many of us love great music, let us never forget those that have lost homes, livelihoods, life, and sometimes everything their families have worked generations to achieve. When you feel grief from losing a loved one or an icon like Ms. Houston, please dedicate a moment to bless all creatures that are suffering right now...

It is true that Whitney most likely died from prescription drugs mixed with alcohol. This indicates extreme torment, mixing decades of peer pressure and people surrounding her that most likely never took into account that a body can only handle so many chemicals and junk, then ultimately gives out. Regardless, her voice is, well, the result of her gospel music background mixed with an emotion, a sincerity that is rare, and cannot be replaced: unforgettable... I choose to remember her qualities, not the problems. - Dennis Knicely, HealingNews.com

The voice floats confidently but quietly in the first few lines of Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You," the song for which the superstar vocalist, who died Saturday of undetermined causes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, will always be remembered. EDITOR'S NOTE: Previous article is where science speculates, when common sense indicates the truth: Cutting down a rain forest would definitely affect both weather and environment. A bigger question: Who funded this research and what are their goals, possibly developers and others responsible for destroying rain forests for their own money driven ventures? The biggest culprits here: Humans.

Cars and cannabis don't mix, study finds | Jeannine Stein, Los Angeles | February 12, 2012 | Sydney Morning Herald | In seven of the nine studies the risk of a crash went up when drivers had smoked marijuana a few hours before the accident. EDITOR'S NOTE: Although previous article makes a good headline, the bottom line is "inconclusive". A bigger question might be: Was any alcohol or other drugs involved other than cannabis? Although smoking anything, cigarettes included can be dangerous, there would most definitely be different results from a "moderate smoker" [a puff or two] and someone smoking a large amount. Same would run true with someone sipping one beer over an hour or so vs. someone taking numerous shots of liquor within an hour.

EDITOR'S COMMENT: There are numerous addictions in addition to drugs. A prime example would be someone who does not drink much alcohol during weekdays, yet going out and binge drinking once a week, to simply get loaded. This "habit" can be extremely dangerous especially when one blacks out. Someone using marijuana on occassion might not have a big problem, yet someone smoking all day every day will exhibit symptoms of extreme addiction.

"Freedom of choice" is an ideal, yet how we compete with addictive extremism is a major issue. When we have a medical profession that can prescribe drugs more dangerous than heroin or cocaine, actually resulting in severe addiction, we have a huge problem. This is MUCH worse than simply decriminalizing marijuana that has been an effective "pain killer", giving one an alternative to the dangerous pharmaceuticals.

EDITOR'S COMMENT: Once again, big money trumps common sense. GMO crops have never been properly tested to even know long term effects. This is a macabre science, developing crops to withstand poisons capable of killing other plants / animals [except GMO crops], so companies like Monsanto can continue in their quest to totally control seeds for food. Can we stop them, or is money controlling Government legislators' decisions simply too much to counter? It's time for action.

I did further research on this article, and Whole Foods Market claim they in no way support or condone Monsanto. WFM intentionally test and research their products to make sure GMO is not slipped into their foods.
